Dorcon Film is one of the four winners of the JETS co-production initiative (Junior Entertainment Talent Slate for 1st, 2nd and 3rd feature filmmakers during the Berlinale Film Festival 2017 with the Fantasy-Adventure Feature Project Ruides (in development). The international jury consisted out of four countries Canada, Germany, Ireland and UK where filmmakers pitched 20 projects in front of them. The host for the venue was the Canadian Embassy in Berlin. The event was funded by FFA, Irish Film Board, Telefilm Kanada, FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, HessenFilm & Medien and nordmedia. (Detailed description of the event HERE (German), the brochure HERE (English)).

 

Frogjumping with Obstacles will be screening at the Bayreuther Filmfestival kontrast on March 5th in the children's Short Film category.  Meet us there. 

 

 

Intelligent Trees is screening at the European Film Market of the Berlinale on Tuesday, February 14th!

A short 23-minute version of the documentary Alaotra - Endangered treasures of Madagascar is screened at a conference in Madagascar! Main focus of the conference is the resilience of natural wetlands. Location: École Supérieure des Sciences Agronomiques - Université d’Antananarivo - 12-14 October 2016.
